Form, Structure, Plot, and Conflicts
1. What is the organizational structure? Five acts? Two acts? Ten scenes? Prologues?

2. Discuss techniques such as use of chorus flashbacks or dream scenes, chronological order of events, beginnings, off-stage action, multiple or single plot, complex or simple plot.
Simple technique for plot is used. The story progresses in chronological order, creating a complex plot that has multiple conflicts.
3. Identify conflicts and resolutions. Then outline the events in the plot labeling the exposition, initial incident, rising action, crisis/climax, falling action, denouement--with one or two sentences to describe each.
A) Ruth’s marriage
B) Getting the alcohol store (How to spend Len’s money)
- Willy Harris absconds with Walter’s money.
C) Fulfilling Luna’s dream of moving out, having their own house, having her own garden (improving the environment they live in)
- Lena’s insurance money pays for a house they are going to move in
